iProf signs MoU with IGNOU

IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) world`s largest open university and iProf Learning Solutions India Private Ltd., the icon for introducing the touch screen Education concept in India joined hands by signing of an MOU which sets out the scope of a potential collaboration whereby IGNOU `s (Indira Gandhi National Open University) high quality courses would be delivered through iProfs interactive educational tablets.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Uday Singh Tolia, Registrar of IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) and Mr. Sanjay Purohit, CEO of iProf.

Ranchi Launch of iProf iStudy Zone (11th July 2010)

The first iProf iStudy Zone in Jharkhand was launched on 11th May 2010 in Ranchi under the able leadership of Mr. Vijay Patel. The launch was done in the august presence of Hon'ble Chief Guest Mr. Richard Ion Thornton - Director Westcott Group of Schools, a renowned educationist in Jharkhand in presence of press and media journalist from several popular newspapers and channels. Mr. Rajesh Nair - Zonal Manager represented iProf Corporate office during the event.

Ahmedabad conference (9-11 June, 2010)

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University organized a national conference of the Hon. Vice-Chancellors during 09-11 June 2010 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.The Hon. Vice-chancellors of all the Open Universities in India, as well as those of the conventional Universities in Gujarat participated in the Conference.The theme of the conference focused on "Open and Conventional Education Systems: Opportunities for ICT-enabled Confluence".Shri Narendra Modi, Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat, inaugurated the Conference and addressed it in his own inimitable style sharing substantive thoughts and ideas.
